Dr. Roy Stevens has been a member of the Library Development Committee since 2001, and
chairman of the committee since 2003.
"I've long been a supporter of UAlbany's Libraries because I know that libraries (and librarians) are the keepers of our knowledge and information foundations past, present, and future. The 'past' part is obvious, and for our present, librarians collect, organize, and manage the immediate exchange and distribution of discovery and current commentary."
The future, Roy adds, is in the hands of those who will join the campaign to advance The University Libraries' Endowment for Enriching Programs in Science and Technology. "It's a wonderful endowment initiative, and I hope other researchers and scholars will join me in supporting this fund."
