For many of us, logging onto social media is as much a part of our daily routine as brushing our teeth or enjoying our morning cup of coffee. It is so convenient to have breaking news, friend’s pictures and funny cat videos delivered directly to our electronic devices. Wouldn’t it be nice to have library resources served up the same way?
We though as much, that is way the University Libraries are on the most popular social media platforms:
Follow the Libraries on Facebook for information on news and events at the Libraries; new and interesting resources; research assistance and other services; and updates from the Dewey blog.
Our Twitter feed is chock full of interesting stories from the UAlbany community and beyond. It will also keep you up-to-date on what’s happening at the Libraries. Got a question? Tweet @UALibraries and we’ll give you the answer!
Check out our Pinterest boards where we have pinned useful information about using the Libraries, including research tips, tutorials, and information on resources and services. Follow all of our boards or just pick the ones that are most interesting to you.
Stopping by one of the libraries? Check into FourSquare and let everyone know how hard you are working!
