Introduction to Westlaw Campus

Westlaw Campus provides online access to the full text of federal and state statutes and regulations, federal and state appellate court decisions, law review articles, and a legal encyclopedia. This one hour session is hands-on and will cover finding documents using legal citations as well as constructing a key word search strategy.

Using EndNote

EndNote is a bibliographic management system that allows you to search online bibliographic databases, organize their references, and quickly generate bibliographies. This workshop will provide an introduction on how to use EndNote for term papers, reports and publications. Sessions will last approximately 90 minutes to allow some time for hands-on work.

Baffled by blogs? Wary of Wikis? Reluctant about RSS? This seminar will provide an overview of thse web communication/collaoboration tools and show examples of how they are currently being utilized. The instructor will show you where you can create your own blogs and wikis for free and how to subscribe to RSS feeds that will keep you up to date on the topic of your choice.
