first Husted Fellowship Award
for graduate study in education,
June 18, 1949. The Alumni
Association began collecting
funds for the scholarship in 1905
on the occasion of A. N. Husted's
50th year as a faculty member
at the school. The Association
was incorporated in 1907
to receive bequests for the
Husted Fund. Kullman was,
at the time, coordinator of field
services at Plattsburg
State Teachers College.
