Volunteers serve a 2 year term and can be eligible for partial student loan cancellation. There are also several university programs that give college credit for Peace Corps service. Volunteers are given a living allowance during service and a resettlement allowance upon return home based on the duration of the assignment. You must be 18 years of age to join.
