ALBANY'S UNIVERSITY LIBRARIES
The University Libraries are centers for discovery and learning, fully
engaged in meeting the 21st century needs of students, faculty,
alumni, and the worldwide community of scholars and researchers.
Albany's Libraries provide over two million volumes and
rank among the nation's top one hundred research libraries.
The Libraries are three distinctive buildings in the University's
landscape, each reflecting how the University has changed
and evolved since 1844.
The Libraries add approximately 45,000 volumes to the collections
each year, offer access to more than 28,000 print and electronic
serials, subscribe to 5,350 periodicals, and provide nearly
2.8 million microforms, 430,000 documents, and 51,000 maps
and charts to users.
