The Interlibrary Loan Department accepts requests from libraries via OCLC, Capital District Library Council forms, ILLiad and ALA and IFLA forms. Forms may be faxed to 518-442-3566. We do not accept telephone requests. We can send an invoice with our material, or billing can be done through OCLC's Interlibrary Loan Fee Management system. We do not accept any coupons. Our federal ID number is 14-7400260.
Our loan period is four weeks, with the possibility of one four-week renewal.
Individuals wishing to borrow materials from the University's collections must make their request through their home library. A home library could be a public, academic, or corporate library.
We will lend a second copy of dissertation or thesis if is available. We do not lend audio-visual materials, periodicals, reference materials. Rare materials are subject to special conditions.
