For students: Where are my course reserve materials at UAlbany?

On Electronic Reserves

Search Electronic Reserves, or ERes, by course instructor or department. Materials on ERes may include lecture notes, scanned journal articles, links to other web sites, bulletin board and chat room functions, PowerPoint and Excel files, and other documents. Many courses require a password which can only be obtained from the instructor.

At the Reserve Desk

Use Minerva to search for books, videos, and other materials which are available only from the Library itself.

Reserve Services for Students

On WebCT

The WebCT system is an online course management system used by faculty. WebCT is administered by ITS, not by the Libraries, and therefore library staff do not have the student passwords needed to access the system.

From faculty web pages

Faculty may have placed items related to your course on their own personal web page. There is no central index of faculty personal web pages.
