As a pilot project, reserves staff will add a folder of online library resources selected by subject specialist librarians to provide convenient access to students through the context of their coursework in ERes. A folder titled "Library Resources" will be added to all new Fall 2005 course pages created by library staff unless faculty opt out of the service. The folder will contain five links:
Faculty who maintain their own ERes pages or who have existing ERes pages may contact library staff to request the addition of the Library Resources folder to their ERes course pages. An email notice will be mailed to faculty and instructors with ERes accounts in early August to provide the option to request the folder on existing pages.
Subject specialists are available to consult with faculty to identify additional online resources, to arrange specialized instructional sessions for classes, and to take suggestions for purchase of library materials. Contact your subject specialist today!
