Raymond Falconer of the Atmospheric Science Research Center providing a weather forecast for radio broadcast most likely from an office on the campus of the State University of New York at Albany. Falconer began giving radio weather forecasts in 1962. Forecasts were provided to stations WAMC and WNAC. John M. “Tim” Reilly, president of United University Professions (UUP), and Beth Engler, WAMC Northeast Public Radio host and producer, taping a radio program. See page 3 of The Voice for further information. Tim Reilly was a professor of English at the University at Albany, SUNY when he was elected president of UUP in 1987. He served as president from 1987 to 1993. Reilly had been a chief union negotiator and chaired the Negotiations Committee, and was credited with winning TIAA-CREF pension reform. He was also a vice president of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and a board member of New York State United Teachers (NYSUT).
