Book artists have also employed unexpected and imaginative materials which include snake, lizard, and deer skins, tree bark and lacquered leaves. There are also uncommon bindings, for example the dos-a-dos, two books bound together which share a common lower board and are upside down to each other.
This sampling of Poole Press works by Maryline Poole Adams includes embroidery books, a Russian doll nesting book, and a work by Robert Yeats.
