The campers built the amphitheater behind the camp's main house. This was most likely taken during one of the Sunday meetings held at the camp. The man with glasses seated at right is Norman Cazden. John Coss described as a 'good fiddler' in a caption accompanying this photograph in a scrapbook from the Norman Studer collection. Coss was likely a resident of the Catskill Mountains region in New York State and performed at Camp Woodland and the annual Folk Festival of the Catskills.
