A photograph of a letter dated May 16, 1888, written by Edward P. Waterbury, A.M., Ph.D., President of the New York State Normal School from June 22, 1882 - August 8, 1889. The letter is concerning students who went ice-skating without permission and after curfew. There are three separate prints of this image on file with a separate negative for each print. In the upper left corner is a picture of what might be a lithograph of the Normal School building. The annual report of the New York State Normal School Executive Committee to the Legislature for 1849. Includes: Statistics; Library and Apparatus; Experimental School; and a debit and credit report. Before the body of the formal report, the document addresses the death of David Perkins Page, the founding principal of the Normal School, and George R. Perkins being the new principal. There are also attached Documents: Courses of Study; Graduates for the term ending March 30, 1848 and Graduates for the term ending September 21, 1848. On the last page, there is a rendering (a lithograph) of the Normal School Building, signed 'Print of Rich. H. Pease.' The Pease family was an established and prominent family of printers in Albany, New York. The document is 23 pages long. On the last page of the document (page 24), there is a rendering (a lithograph) of the Normal School Building, signed 'Print of Rich. H. Pease.' The Pease family was an established and prominent family of printers in Albany, New York. The document is 23 pages long. The Report of the committee on Literature on the communication from the Regents of the University, relative to certain Academies instructing common school teachers. This report contains extracts addressing how much funding should be appropriated from the Literature Fund for each of the academies that have instruction in the science of common (normal) school teaching. Also addressed are the conditions the academies must fulfill in order to secure continued funding. A table accompanying the report is on page 10 and displays statistics relative to each of the 45 institutions considered in the report. Eugene Link presenting a framed lithograph to Nuala Drescher during a United University Professions (UUP) event. Eugene Link was UUP Membership Development Officer from 1975  to 1977, and Nuala Drescher was UUP president from 1981 to 1987. This image appeared in the May/June 1987 edition of The Voice with the caption: 'Gift of appreciation- UUP founding member Eugene Link presents Drescher with a lithograph by noted artist Rockwell Kent. The work reads, aptly, 'Etneral Vigilance is the Price of Liberty.'' Written in the top margin of the original is '33-115' and in the bottom margin is 'VOICE p.12' and '100%.'
