A 1972 New York Times article on CSEA President Ted Wenzl (1967-77) written at the time of the union's Easter Sunday strike. The original document was donated to CSEA by Wenzl's son Thurman Wenzl in June 2006.
A 1972 cartoon by renowned Albany Times Union political cartoonist Hy Rosen, 'Thats no Easter Bunny, Thats a March Hare!', depicting CSEA President Ted Wenzl (1967-77) who led his union on strike on Easter Sunday that year; dressed as a rabbit carrying a sign that says 'Stike as of Midnight March 31' and a basket called CSEA Demands with grenades falling out as Wenzl hops about. A woman and man are in the background. The woman holds a paper saying 'Taylor Law Meaning' and the man holds the 'New '72 Budget' book. The original document (autographed by the cartoonist) was donated to CSEA by Wenzl's son Thurman Wenzl in June 2006.
