I. General Purpose

The University Libraries' acquisitions policy for Hispanic literature and language is intended to support faculty research and all degrees up to and including the Ph.D. with concentrations in Hispanic literature or Hispanic linguistics. The program of Hispanic Literature and Language forms part of the Hispanic and Italian Studies Department.

II. Subject and Language Modifiers

Chronological Periods: Literary materials are collected from the Mozarabic period in the 10th century to the present (peninsular) and from the colonial period (15th century) to the present in Latin America.
