Statistics is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data related to
education in the U.S. and worldwide. The agency provides current and projected statistics on
elementary, secondary, and higher education in such sources as
The Condition of Education,
Digest of Education Statistics,
Projections of Education
Statistics, etc.
OECD iLibrary provides comparative statistics on foreign countries and statistics on individual
countries. This database contains research on social and policy issues, as well as a wealth of
statistical information on economics of education.
