Researchers now share the M.E. Grenander Department of Special Collections and Archives with incoming collections and collection processing staff. This room will become the new Current Periodicals Reading Room.

The offices of the University Archivist and the Head of the M.E. Grenander Department also double as collection processing and storage areas. The Department will have a large collections processing room in the new library.

Special Collections and Archives processing will move from a sub-basement aisle to the processing room in the new library.	Electronic instruction classes have increased in size and frequency. Additional computer classrooms are planned for the former offices of the University Archivist and the Head of the M.E. Grenander Department.
