As the title indicates, this is not exclusively grant information, but a large part of the book is devoted to grants. It lists, alphabetically, groups that sponsor grants. Each of the groups is described in one paragraph which ends with contact information.

This source consists of several volumes. Each volume has its own area focus such as arts and humanities, science, social sciences, and medicine. Within each of the books information on finding grants by grant type and by organization are included. All of the mentioned volumes are located in the University Library with the exception of the volume on medicine. This is located in the Science Library reference section. *Please check Minerva for the call number location of the volume you are interested in.

COS Funding Opportunities

A comprehensive, Web-based source of funding information, with more than 16,000 awards from around the world. This resource is made available through the Research Foundation and is available to University at Albany faculty, staff and students only. Faculty, staff, administration, and graduate students may apply to the Research Foundation to receive remote access registration (email: research@uamail.albany.edu). All other access is available only on the University at Albany campus.

This is a great collection of funding sources on the Internet. It includes government agencies (federal and state) as well as foundations and corporations. Look for the Funding Information category on this page.
