INTERNET SEARCH
Another way to access job openings on the Internet is to perform a net search from a search engine such as AltaVista, Google, or Lycos. Choose a search engine, type a specific search and hit <enter>. For example, to search for jobs in libraries, type "library jobs". This will provide you with a list of links to sites that index job openings in libraries. This strategy can be utilized in searching for all types of job openings. Lycos has a specific jobs section - look for the Jobs tab on the main page.COMPANY INFORMATION
Many companies maintain their own web sites. These can be valuable sources of information, but remember that it is the company itself that provides the information, so it may have a bias.
