Search Records

When searching databases it is nice to be able to save the retrieved information without having to write it down. Most databases provide a number of methods to save this data. These include :

  • Printing
  • Saving
  • E-mailing

Look for these commands (often icons) on the database you are using.

Print, save, email icons

Some hints when using Library computer workstations :

  • Saving
    • Bring a flash drive
    • Save to your space on the University's 'S' Drive
    • Make sure that you're saving to the correct drive
  • Email
    • Have complete email address
