New Service Hours at Dewey this Spring

You asked and we listened! Members of our Student Advisory Board requested that the library open earlier on Sundays. We're pleased to announce that we have implemented this change for the Spring 2016 semester. The library will now open Sundays from 11:00am to 7:00pm, with expanded reference hours of 12:00-6:00pm. All of our other service hours will remain the same as in previous semesters.

We've also streamlined the Subject Librarian hours this semester. Our Subject Librarians will now be available for drop in appointments in their offices for the following hours:

  • Elaine M. Lasda Bergman: Subject Librarian for Reference, Social Welfare, and Gerontology
    (518) 442-3695;
    Office Hours: Tuesdays, 5-8pm
  • Deborah Bernnard: Head of Dewey Library and Subject Librarian for Information Studies
    (518) 442-3699;
    Office Hours: Fridays, 11am-1pm
  • Catherine Dwyer: Subject Librarian for Political Science, Public Administration & Policy, Law, and Government Information
    (518) 442-3698;
    Office Hours: Mondays, 5-8pm
  • Lorre Smith: Subject Librarian for Copyright and Open Access
    (518) 437-3946;
    Office Hours: Wednesdays, 5-8pm
