Best Wishes to Deborah Bernnard in her New Role!

If you haven't heard, congratulations are in order! Late last month, former Head of the Dewey Library Deborah Bernnard was promoted to the position of Director of Public Services. A longtime Dewey librarian, Deborah also previously served as the subject librarian for Library and Information Studies, and originally worked at Dewey as the User Education Librarian.

In her new role as Director of Public Services, Deborah has relocated to an office Uptown and now oversees four departments: Access Services, Information Literacy, the Interactive Media Center, and Reference and Research Services. In her absence, Cathy Dwyer, our resident Subject Librarian for Criminal Justice, Law, Political Science, Public Administration & Policy, and Government Information has taken up the position of Interim Head and will lead the Dewey Library through until a new Library Head is hired.

Please join us in thanking Deborah for her years of service at the Dewey Library - and wishing her all the best in her new position!
