The University Libraries were pleased to introduce the inaugural cohort of Library Ambassadors for the Spring 2021 semester. Most of them will be joining us again in the fall. They are already hard at work creating wonderful content for our social media platforms, especially Instagram. You will see them online and around the libraries, from vlogging about how they use study spaces and resources in the libraries, doing Instagram takeovers, or helping out library events and outreach opportunities!

Corrin (Rin) Baker
My name is Corrin (Rin) Baker; I am a senior majoring in English and minoring in Educational Studies. My favorite library is the University Library—especially the second floor, where many of my favorite books on Shakespeare are!
Devon Marte
I am currently in my junior year at UAlbany, majoring in Business Administration with a double concentration in Finance and Marketing with a minor in Communication. I decided to become a Library Ambassador to show my love and support for our beautiful libraries on campus. I am looking forward to becoming an active member of our library community and promoting library resources. Stay tuned for all of the announcements and fun activities my team and I will be leading!
Kyle Dillon
Hello, my name is Kyle Dillon. I am currently a sophomore at the University at Albany, majoring in Political Science. My favorite library is the University Library. I am going to be a content generation ambassador!
Amanda Greenwood
I am a graduate student working on my Master of Science in Information Science, with a focus on Archives and Records Administration. I love all three of our libraries for several reasons. Dewey’s interior is gorgeous and helps with creativity; and while I spent most of my time as an undergraduate student in the University Library, the Science Library holds a special place in my heart because that’s where our Special Collections and Archives are kept.
Jill Cofield
I am a graduate student in the Master of Science in Information Science program. I'm happy to be a part of the University Libraries’ inaugural Library Ambassadors cohort. Research shows that university libraries are key to supporting student success! As a Library Ambassador, I am looking forward to sharing my favorite resources with students at UAlbany. I am also interested in spotlighting the services and resources available virtually as well as in-person.
Kelly Barlett
I am delighted to be joining the inaugural team of Library Ambassadors! I am a dual English and Information Science graduate student with a concentration in Archives and Records Administration. My favorite study spot is downtown at the Dewey Graduate Library—specifically under the “Knowledge” window. I’m looking forward to connecting you with library resources and supporting the University Libraries’ mission to promote intellectual growth and creativity!
