Camille Chesley, Head of Reference and Research Services, was promoted to the rank of Associate Librarian. Camille joined the University Libraries in August 2016 as a Reference Librarian. She also serves as the Subject Specialist for Journalism. Camille received her MSLIS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and she holds a BA in East Asian Studies from Oberlin College.

Trudi Jacobson

Trudi Jacobson, Distinguished Librarian

After 32 years with the University Libraries, Trudi Jacobson retired on January 21, 2022. Trudi held a number of roles throughout her career, most recently as Head of the Information Literacy Department. In 2011, the State University of New York awarded her the rank of Distinguished Librarian. 

Peter Recore-Migirditch retired on April 27, 2022, after 41 years of service to the University at Albany. Peter joined the University Libraries in 1984, where he served as the Director of Finance and Administration for over two decades.

Before he called it a career, Peter took time to answer a few questions about his time with the Libraries.

Rebecca Nous joined SUNY Library Services as a Support Specialist.

Charlene Martoni accepted a position as Outreach Librarian for the Social Sciences at Georgia State University.

We also wish Katlyn Ira, Krishna Rayavaram, and Bryan Wylock success in their new chapters.
