Mary Jo Daly
Mary Jo Daly assumed the role of Library Personnel Coordinator on August 29, 2024. Originally from Queensbury, New York, Mary Jo began her professional career in the SUNY system at North Country Community College, where she served as Assistant Librarian in charge of the Malone Branch Library. Her trip back to SUNY has included work at another community college, as the director of a small public Library, and even a stint as a school librarian. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the College of New Rochelle (RIP, CNR), and a Master’s of Library Science from our very own University at Albany
Adrienne Emery arrived at the University at Albany on December 5, 2024 in the role of Education Curriculum Collection Coordinator. Originally from Connecticut, she also lived in Arizona and North Carolina and has called the Capital Region home since 2009. She has a BA from Yale University and an MSW from Columbia University and discovered a passion for library work during the pandemic. Most recently, she served as the Curriculum Library Coordinator at the College of Saint Rose and is excited to help establish and share the collection at UAlbany.
The University Libraries also wish the best to Sue Kaczor on her retirement, as well as to Carlos Zamora, who accepted a position at the University of California, Riverside.
