By Jane Kessler, Director of Collections

Welcome to Collections Spotlight, a recurring column in the Library Update newsletter. In each installment, Jane Kessler, Director of Collection Development, will showcase an area of the Libraries’ extensive holdings. In this edition, we’re pleased to provide complimentary subscriptions to the Wall Street Journal for members of the University at Albany community.

Beginning in January, the University at Albany Libraries and The Wall Street Journal entered into an agreement to provide complimentary WSJ memberships to the entire campus community. With this agreement, members have full digital access to award-winning journalism via WSJ.com and the Wall Street Journal app, as well as curated content, including podcasts, newsletters, career insights, and personal finance advice.

Additionally, students, faculty, and staff members are entitled to exclusive benefits with WSJ+. This program gives members access to virtual events and offers, such as invites to talks and a free ebook each month.

Students, faculty, and staff at the University at Albany can activate their complimentary memberships by visiting WSJ.com/UAlbany.

Those who currently pay for an existing WSJ membership may call 1-800-JOURNAL and mention they are switching to their school-sponsored membership. Partial refunds will be made.
