Supports learning, teaching, research, and creative expression through innovative technologies and maker resources. Located in the University Library, the Lab provides spaces, equipment, and expertise to bring your ideas to life.

Whether you're creating a podcast, designing a 3D model, editing video, or exploring new technologies, the Creative Technologies Lab provides the tools, spaces, and expertise to support your creative vision. From beginners to advanced users, everyone is welcome.

Getting Started

First-time users must complete an in-person orientation before using the equipment in Creative Technologies Lab and/or Studio B47. 

The brief orientation (approximately 15-20 minutes) covers:

  • Lab safety and equipment handling
  • Booking procedures
  • Available resources and staff support

Studio B47

Use Studio B47 for recording video interviews, podcasting, and rehearsing presentations or thesis defenses.

Location: University Library Garden Level, Room LI B47 

First-time users must complete an orientation prior to use by attending a scheduled in-person training.

Equipment pick-up is at 2pm daily from the Circulation Desk. Items are due by library close on the return date.
