Dean's Message: Fall 2025

Things look a little different around here, don't they? I'm pleased to introduce this newsletter with our updated interface. The new layout not only looks sharp, but it also has enhanced features for usability and accessibility. Please join me in thanking our web development team for their hard work in making this newsletter available to you.

Inside this semester's Library Update you will find stories on student successes, whether in the archives or as part of the Library Ambassador program. You will also read about the greenery in and around the Library, including a nature walk and a visit from The Plant Doctor.

Libraries also have a commitment to protecting intellectual freedom in their community. I am pleased to share that Amanda Lowe, Outreach and Marketing Librarian, was named the 2025 recipient of the NYLA Intellectual Freedom Award!
