A lot of the work we do is quantifiable, making it possible to do a round-up of our statistics for the 2025-26 academic year.These numbers cover the period from the first day of classes last fall (August 25, 2025) to the last day of finals this spring (May 13, 2026). They include contributions from all the hardworking undergraduates, graduate students, and staff in our department. We provided extensive customer service. 5,988 HoursDesk coverage across both semesters, plus finals. 33,581 LoansItems circulated across all three libraries. 3,034 AnswersQuestions and tickets resolved by Access Services faculty and staff. We managed and maintained large collections. 2,177 ScansArticles and chapters scanned and delivered. 15,287 ItemsPulled for circulation, scanning, or interlibrary loan. 30,000 BooksShelved across all locations. We worked closely alongside student employees. 80 Student Employees56 undergraduate students and 24 graduate students. 148 TrainingsDelivered to student employees throughout the year. 15,800 HoursOf coverage provided by student employees.
