Join us in welcoming our newest faculty members to the University Libraries! Ellis Ging Physical Materials Cataloging & Metadata LibrarianI am a recent transplant to New York's Capital District from the nation's capital in Washington, DC. I have two master's degrees from CUNY Queens College, one in literary translation and the other in library science. Most recently, I worked as a hybrid librarian (doing both cataloging and acquisitions) in the South America Section of the African, Latin American, and Western European Division at the Library of Congress. I spend a lot of time cooking and am excited to explore the region's state parks. Ellis Ging Kate Wantuch Kate Wantuch Electronic Resources Cataloging & Metadata LibrarianHello everyone! I grew up in rural Upstate New York where I spent time boating and fishing on the St. Lawrence River. After finishing my BA in Mathematics and Secondary Education at SUNY Potsdam, my husband and I settled in the Capital District to raise a family. Later, I earned an MSIS here at UAlbany. My professional background includes 28 years working in the Albany Medical College and Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences libraries. I enjoy camping, canoeing, and gardening, as well as sewing, knitting, and solving puzzles. Kaci Wilson Health Sciences and Systematic Review LibrarianI am originally from Alabama, but recently moved to the Capital Region from Omaha, Nebraska. I have an MLIS from Louisiana State University and previously served as STEM Librarian at LSU Shreveport and Reference and Resource Librarian at Nebraska Methodist College. Some of my favorite things are graphic novels, games, travel, curling, cooking, and spending time with my partner and our three cats!
