The University Libraries hosted a "Framing the Future" event on March 27, 2024 to gather valuable feedback from students on the future of the libraries. The event aimed to explore how the Libraries can help students achieve academic success at UAlbany.

The University Libraries are proud to introduce our inaugural Internship Cohort. This spring we welcomed three students from the Information Science master's program. While they worked on specific projects in their homebase units, they also embarked on a series of visits with various departments across the University Libraries, giving them a broad view of the many different aspects of academic libraries.

The University Libraries announced in May that graduate student Nodiaus DiTonno and undergraduate student Alice Russo are the 2024 Patricia Stocking Brown Research Award recipients.
